The study

A desktop that admits it is a desktop.

Window chrome, controls and icons for a file browser, drawn in a glossy style that says where every edge is rather than hiding it. A title bar reads as a title bar and a button reads as a button.

Every piece is tested in the running system rather than on a board. An icon that holds up at its own size is the only kind worth keeping.
